Two Mating Cupid Butterflies on Wild Plant
I set out to the farmland, a place where I could possibly find many different insects that live around the wood. I arrived at noon so I might have much time to do shots. First off, I had to pass a narrow path that led me to the destination, but before I really reached there, I was caught up by two mating plains cupid on the little stalk. I decided to make a long stop to take their photos and I was lucky they did not make a significant move so that I had much time to take shots. This butterfly is recognized as plains cupid (Luthrodes pandava)and includes small butterflies that look like zizina otis. We commonly find this species in the wood, in the bush but sometimes they were busy with flying during the daylight.
