Enjoying Sweet and Spicy dishes
Summer is at its peak these days. After many hot days, it finally rained in the evening. The weather became very pleasant and refreshing. We decided to enjoy a famous Punjabi rainy day sweet dish. It was called meethi tikkyian and meethay pakoray.
👩🍳 My beloved wife melted gur (jaggery) in water. Then she made two mixtures one for pakora and one for tikkyia.
She fried both pakoras and tikkyian to a golden crisp. The sweet smell filled the house, and we were all excited.
We sat together and enjoyed the dish happily. It was so delicious and full of love.
Later for dinner, we had daal chana and BBQ. I captured some beautiful moments with my family. It was a simple but perfect evening filled with love, food, and rain.
