A Beautiful Day from the Garden – Fresh Vegetables and My Favorite Pumpkin Flower Pakora
Hello dear Steemians,
How are you all? I hope everyone is doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also feeling great today. It was such a peaceful and joyful morning at home because I spent my day in our garden, surrounded by fresh vegetables, beautiful greenery, and the sounds of birds chirping. There is something magical about harvesting your own food — it always makes me feel happy and connected to nature.

Harvesting Fresh Vegetables
This morning, I walked through the garden with a basket in my hand, enjoying the cool breeze and soft sunlight. The garden looked lively and full of life. I collected a variety of fresh vegetables:

- Bottle Gourd (Lau) – soft and green, perfect for curries or light stir-fry.
- Pumpkin (Mistikumra) – the big green ones and tender leaves, both very nutritious.
- Eggplant (Begun) – shiny and smooth, ready to make delicious curries.
- Bitter Gourd (Korola) – healthy and slightly bitter, but full of flavor.
- Cucumber (Shosha) – fresh and crunchy, perfect for salads.
- Ridge Gourd (Jhinge) – soft and tender, ideal for light vegetable dishes.
- Yardlong Bean (Dherosh) – long and green, great for stir-fry or mixed vegetable curries.
Collecting these vegetables made me feel grateful for having such a beautiful garden. Everything looked fresh and full of life, and I felt excited to cook with them.

Today’s Special Dish – Pumpkin Flower Pakora
Among all the vegetables, the Pumpkin Flower Pakora was the most exciting for me. It is my favorite dish! The tender pumpkin flowers were cleaned carefully, dipped in a light gram flour batter, seasoned with a little salt and spices, and then fried until golden and crispy.
When I took the first bite, the combination of crispiness outside and soft delicate flavor inside made me smile immediately. I enjoyed it with a little chili sauce, and it tasted absolutely amazing. It reminded me of how wonderful simple, homemade food can be when made with love.

Cooking with Fresh Garden Ingredients
Cooking with vegetables straight from the garden always feels different. The aroma of fresh pumpkin, bottle gourd, and eggplant while cooking fills the kitchen with happiness. Even small things, like the crunch of a fresh cucumber or the softness of pumpkin leaves, bring joy. Today, I felt proud that I could cook a wholesome meal using food I had personally harvested.
Spending the morning in the garden, harvesting vegetables, and cooking a delicious meal is a peaceful experience that I truly cherish. Small moments like these — preparing food, sharing it with family, and enjoying the taste of fresh ingredients — create happiness and beautiful memories. The Pumpkin Flower Pakora reminded me that even simple dishes can become special when made from love and care.
I am grateful for the blessings of nature and my garden, and days like today always make me appreciate the simple joys of life. 🌿
