in #belgium5 years ago (edited)

Twas a small festival on new years ever with some molotov-mongrels (aka 'minors' or children , its called mongrels in south-african slumland territory ... ) setting 22 cars and 2 scooters on fire in brussels

and now

A guy (18yo) setting a car on fire gets the Darwin award for setting himself on fire in the process and running away burning leaving a fiery trail of burning gasoline on the asphalt ...

ever since they outlawed fireworks ... tis to say, i hurr thas been a bit of a tradition in brussels on new year for a few years now - but it seems to spread (gasoline is kinda easy to get after all, ask the russians in WW2)

.. "police is investigating"

certainly a Darwin Award nomination for this guy though (en je moeder). So if you come to belgium :

RENT A CAR

or at least dont leave it outside ...

after new year and this im starting to suspect a plot by NMBS to get people back to using trains and busses since they made less a billion than before somehow ...

Good news all around, the countries starting to try and get vaccines for themselves outside the EU "we shall overcome and share with the needy" hippie deal (which was to be expected and i doubt citizens of said countries are gonna protest in the name of equality either)

IN RUSSIA : its not OFFICIALLY forbidden to come outside and protest against the regime ... i hear you but its now official , meaning KOS without permission

here the lords of mordor are on edge - i mean we dont even have an E.U. army - so my guess is it will all go closer to everything they been frowning on and soon if you speak out against a government you'll be listed , marked and branded

hence - better not to speak too much but

for the "just do it" people who dont happen to live here : you should really come here for a while and then see what you say when you get back

but if you do the tourist lines you wont notice - soviet countries are good at that :)

well yes , but since i am here and in the middle of it its kinda hard to be yay as i see my theory from 30 years ago that says " I NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS HELLHOLE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE " get proven more and more daily.

So - but no one recognizes refugees from belgium , it's a "rich country", last time i checked the average wage here is 3500 EUROS monthly

so i concluded : wikipedia lives in Narnia

someone just confirmed my suspicion : car insurance doesnt cover "kid sets car on fire" - the woman is screwed lol. By the time he gets convicted there will be no money since what he had went to lawyers.

It turns out (you are LEGALLY OBLIGED to have all kinds of insurance in soviet helgium, its not a choice , you HAVE to or severe fines) it turns out car insurance doesnt cover like ANYTHING heh

xept when you run someone over or hit something but if someone steals your wheels, smashes a window and empties it or in general on the daily pours a jerrycan of gasoline into it or throws your run-of-the-mill standard cash&carry molotov at it

you have the right to sue them :D

...

yes, good thing IM the crazy one or id have serious doubts about those humans of yours ...

and their quaint ideas and notions on "how things are done"
