Provided you get enough demand to fill most timeslots then lower is better. It gives authors more granularity with the timing of the upvote and so they can better control post/curation rewards.
More/smaller rewards also means BR helps lift more minnows into regular earnnings but means they'll eventually grow out of needing BR - thus leaving more rewards for upcoming minnows.
