Who cares? If steem, requires people not to spend or trade it in order to retain its value, then its pretty much a failure as a currency anyway.

I don't think $.02 is necessarily out of the question (or necessarily a bad thing, because of the effect on distribution), though i don't feel as strongly that it will necessarily go that low as I once did.
