Reading Through the Biblia de Jerusalén To Learn More Spanish
Here's the copy of "Biblia de Jerusalén (Quinta edition) [Fifth Edition]" that I recently bought! What I've noticed about this physical version from 2019 and the digital version of Biblia de Jerusalén from 1976 (second edition, I believe) is that some words are spelled slightly differently. It's interesting to see how some bibles make some minor changes with grammar and even spelling, but I suppose it is done that way to best reflect linguistic advances in liturgical contexts.
Every few days I spend some time reading a few chapters of this version of the bible. The goal is to complete this version of the bible to help expand my Spanish skills. So far, I've been enjoying reading the bible. Genesis has been complete, so now I'm nearly finished with Exodus. I've got a long way to go to complete the bible, but I won't stop.
