oh how I wish that were true but unfortunately we are surrounded with countries who would invade and slaughter at the drop of a hat if it weren't for strong defenses. but yes, you are correct in saying that "as long as people don't hurt other people" that's true but unfortunately they do want to hurt people and want to kill many of us.
