The head of state stressed that the funds raised in the pre-sale will be used to "ensure everything that our country needs." The government treats presale as part of a "large-scale economic decision".

Venezuela's crypto currency superintendent Carlos Vargas said that 83,000 buyers from 127 countries expressed a desire to participate in the pre-sale. This was reported earlier by the president himself.

The country's authorities claim that on the first day of the pre-sale, $ 735 million was raised, but independent confirmation of this information did not appear.
