myLog: My 26th Birthday!

Happy 26th to me! Number 6 on 26 is indeed round that is why I welcomed this day of mine with a very round face and body.

Kidding aside, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who greeted me. I am also grateful for those who were with me on my day and throughout my existence. I thank you also for your prayers and support.

For the past months, I had been struggling a lot but I really am thanking you all especially God for making my burden lighter.

Indeed, it is easy to hate but it takes a lot of effort to be kind and humble. I love you all!

May God continue to bless us. 🎂

Hello Steemit friends!

This was my message for everyone who greeted me on my birthday yesterday, June 23. I could not be more thankful for the wonderful people that surrounded me and filled me with love and compassion.

I really never thought that there would be a celebration aside from the church celebration that we usually have after the Sunday Service. I was happy that my mom bumped into my godmother who came from Germany. My godmother then, Ninang Margot, told my mom that she would pay for the sweet chocolate cake, but then my mom said she already paid for it. Instead of the shared birthday cake that Nicolle and I have, my ninang bought me another one which was a mango cake.

I know I looked so worn out here. I just finished our Sunday School class with the kids. I realized that I am getting older as I easily get annoyed with them, but then I usually dismiss the thought of being annoyed with them because that would not do any good to me. Aside from that, I really love all my students no matter how hard-headed and noise they could get in our class.

More birthday celebration*

After the church lunch celebration, the congregation had a meeting in regard with a family who decided to leave the church. They've decided to visit them and welcome them.

Mom and I could not come with them though because I need to my relatives to celebrate with them as well.

We decided to eat at Pizza Hut. At first I was so against it but they have an array of meals that everyone would love to eat.

We actually ordered a lot because aside from my relatives, my churchmates also came. Hence, I had a huge celebration.

My birthday used to be a bigger celebration but now I prefer to invite fewer people. This is not because the budget is so tight, but because I love spending it with people who had been with me through thin and thick. Yes! I know I am getting thicker!

Upon reaching this age, I also realized a lot of important things and things that matter most to me. It is a fact that money is important for me so that I could help others by buying essential stuff for them such as materials for our Sunday School. I really need to get a job after our board examination. I hope you help me pray that I would pass the board examination for teachers and have a great rating from it.

Aside from that, I also realized that making others happy makes me happy as well.
