What Happened After Shred Command (Wiping out a VPS Disk)

command to wipe out the disk. You can ssh to it, but the system won't function anymore.
Some errors:
- Structure needs cleaning
- Error opening terminal: xterm-256color.
- cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
- Failed to set wall message, ignoring: Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying
