RE: Foodie has an itchy throat

in #blog7 years ago

When I'm not feeling well, everything feels much louder and I also get agitated pretty easily

Oh yes, that sounds familiar. I basically have that with every headache too.

He's feeling a little better now and I'm not feeling any more sick than with a regular cold so far, so who knows! We'll be okay, thank you so much @shello <3

I've debated on getting earplugs because I cannot get used to white noise when sleeping!

I'm glad to hear your conditions are improving! :D

Ooh, I have earplugs, special made for my ears even. Specially made for people who like to sleep on their sides. Sadly, sleeping with them in my ears while one of my ears is on the pillow will still make my ears hurt after a while. They are ideal for when you sleep on your back though! I learned to just use one the whole night and when I switch sides, I switch the earplug to whichever ear isn't on my pillow. The pillow drowns out quite a bit of noise for the other one.

Yay, unwanted earplug info! I've had some experience! My ears are too small for regular ones. They hurt quite a lot... Anyway, just be sure to consider your sleeping habits and which would suit you best!

Lol, I do that with my earphones when I'm watching videos and laying in bed—it's not as weird as you think! I didn't know that there are specially made ones for side sleepers c: I might want to be checking them out if I have another bout of insomnia soon. I don't understand how people can sleep with a t.v. on

Thankies for the protips <3

I am a horrible sleeper, though when I'm tired enough, I can fall asleep with the tv on, but it should be a bit of a boring show/movie and it's not a long sleep.

I can also take forever to fall asleep. Recently I'm going for the "You did a lot today, now you're actually exhausted approach!" I notice that, when I star watching t.v. I usually lose my focus and KTFO <3
