THE NOTHINGNESS OF THE DEVIL 2

in #blogs6 days ago

11 My heart’s cry for Moab is like a lament on a harp. I am filled with anguish for Kir-hareseth.
12 THE PEOPLE OF MOAB WILL WORSHIP AT THEIR PAGAN SHRINES, BUT IT WILL DO THEM NO GOOD. They WILL CRY TO THE gods IN THEIR TEMPLES, BUT NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO SAVE THEM."
Isaiah 16:11,12 (NLT)

• God is enough.

  • Some had gone to the devil for power because of wealth and fame. And some for protection. But none of what they have gone to receive from the devil would be given to them without a negative consequence.
  • It is impatience that has made some people go for help, seek for a way out of their problems, at the camp of the enemy—the devil.
  • The devil would not give anything free. There is no mercy in his kingdom. mercy and kindness and love are strange words in the kingdom of darkness—the devil's kingdom.
  • A casual visit to mediums or seance gives the devil and his demons an access to your life. Seeking help for direction about your life, through horoscopes, or visiting a shrine, or a so-called spiritual church, would give an access to the devil and demons to operate in your life.
  • Any help or assistance rendered you by any of the devil's representative makes you a candidate of his. The god which you have gone to for any help would definitely claim ownership of your life, and have an access into your life without any restriction—even If you would not want it.

• Some people want to make money through their connections with the secret societies, or through diabolism, and still want to use such money for God.

  • Such people would want to donate a big sum of money in the church or a Christian gathering that they might receive the praise of men. Thinking to pacify or appease God with what they give, that their evil deeds might be overlooked by God.
  • Giving to the churches, para-churches, Christian ministries, or whatever is of God, when the source of your money or wealth is demonic or diabolical; It would not make you acceptable in God's sight.
  • The end does not justify the means, when It comes to the things of God and His Kingdom. You cannot get your money through a dubious or a diabolical means and want or expect such money to be accepted by God. No, not at all!
  • Someone who is into prostitution, a sex worker, would not continue in such Acts or business and wants God to accept the money or wealth she made through it.
  • Whoever wants to serve God, follow Jesus Christ, would abide by His Word, His principles. Obedience to the practicing of His Word makes you His friend: "YOU ARE MY FRIENDS IF YOU DO WHATEVER I COMMAND YOU" (John 15:14 NKJV).
    READ: 1 Peter 1:15,16

• Whoever is contemplating of going to the devil for help would do well to count the cost.

  • You should first of all know that you cannot outsmart the devil. Remember, the devil is a supernatural being, he knows when you come to him only to use him to achieve your goals and dump him. He surely would give you what you seek for, but surely would not be without sorrows added (Psalm 16:4; Proverbs 10:22).
  • The text of this teaching says the people of Moab would lose their glory. Their idols or gods would disappoint them when they call it in anguish.
  • The Admonition is, let God be your refuge or shield; a shelter in the time of storm. When the storms of life come, let it meet you at the shelter, under the shield, of God almighty.
  • Being under the shield or shelter of God is, being born-again. Having a relationship with God through Jesus Christ—accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10). Would you not consider taking the step today?

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
  • Every hold of the enemy on your life is destroyed; be it sickness, or demonic oppression, or whatever, you are completely set free now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
