ニューヨーク証券取引所（NYSE）上場の決済企業Shift4 Paymentsは、eコマース大手アマゾンの創業者であるジェフ・ベゾス氏が創設した米宇宙開発会社ブルーオリジンと協業することを発表したそうで協業の目的は、ブルーオリジンが開発した有人宇宙船「ニューシェパード」への搭乗を申し込む際の支払いに暗号資産（仮想通貨）決済を導入することらしいのですが宇宙旅行まで暗号通貨の支払いが出来るようになるのは面白いですね。
Shift4 Payments, a payment company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), has announced that it will collaborate with Blue Origin, a US space development company founded by Jeff Bezos, the founder of e-commerce giant Amazon. The purpose of the collaboration is to introduce cryptocurrency (virtual currency) payments for bookings on New Shepard, the manned spacecraft developed by Blue Origin. It would be interesting to think that we would even be able to pay for space travel with cryptocurrency.
