I've read the Silmarillion, and The Pet Sematary, and Infinite Jest is on my list to read at some point over the next few months.

I'm familiar with the names of a few of these, but some still many that are new to me. I'm always interested in hearing about books that challenge the norm in terms of their story telling and narrative style, so thank you for this.

Nice! Glad you found some interesting new titles. I hope you have enough warning... because it are difficult and impossible books for various reasons... but yes, exactly as you say, this kind of challenge to the reader is exactly what I long for. Often, but not all the time.
Looking forward to hearing back if you read some of these!
