Bees-N-Flowers.......Northwest Cascade Wanderings

The doc is gone on vacation. The day was a ‘me, myself and I’ day, as most of them will be for the next two and a half weeks. Next Wednesday, I have a fill in doc coming and one of my coworkers as he is booked. Beyond that, the regular doc won’t be back at work until the 22nd. That gives me time to do some things and do a new project as well.

I had some things on my list today - one being to look into some claims from one insurance in particular that hasn’t been paying. They have their own portal to submit them. They’d been rejected, but fortunately, I was able to find out just why, as the reason code simply said ‘missing information’. There was no explanation as to what exactly was the issue. Things have been fixed and resubmitted now. I’ll have to keep watch on them as our office software apparently does not put all the information on the claim form that is required. 🙄

I also had several patients stop by to pick up, order or get adjustments. It turned into a fairly busy day for a Thursday!

I had one who didn’t speak English. I unfortunately don’t speak Russian, but with the help of our phones, we were able to communicate and get a pair of glasses picked out and ordered for her. Technology is wonderful!

There is nothing more rewarding that watching a child really see for the first time, or even an adult who had no idea how much they were missing visually!

Tomorrow is more of the same. I’ve got a list of items I want to get done. I have a new frame rep as I open, but then the day is pretty much the list and assisting any patients who come in. It is never dull or boring!

I guess that’s gonna wrap up this Friday Eve! Tomorrow is indeed Friday and I’m looking forward to the weekend. If we don’t get a call to head to our son’s place, we should be attending the Northwest Washington Fair either Saturday-‘er -I mean Caturday, Sunday or Monday. It just all depends!

Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

NKJV Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
