Off We Go……..Northwest Cascade Wanderings
…..into the wild blue yonder! This is the first line in a song from my childhood. What I didn’t know was that it was and is the official song of the US Air Force, written by Robert MacArthur Crawford!
I guess as a child, I never paid too much attention to the details!
So tonight’s post’s theme is wild blue yonder. The skies here can seem huge and open with lots of white, fluffy clouds at times, or seem closed off just a bit when inclement weather rears its head. Enjoy the blueness!
Work was not so bad as I feared it might be. We had a couple reschedules which reduced the workload. We did fill an appointment so the doc was somewhat busy, but all in all, it was a good day. 😎
Next week was looking super busy but just before I left for the day, the doc informed me that he would not be here on Thursday. This was after I had earlier in the morning, asked him if there was any Thursday he wasn’t going to be available for! 🙄 Now, instead of having all of today to reschedule those patients, it’s going to turn into a cram session on other days! Oh boy! 😒
As we all know, beautiful blue skies turn to sunsets and twilight!
I was fortunate enough to capture some outstanding Northern Lights pictures last year in May, when they were visible. This is just one example of what we saw that night.
The sense of awe I experienced during that magical night, is beyond words! How I hope to experience that again!
Evening is upon us and the sun will soon set for the day.
My steps for the day:
That’s it for today. It was super hot here today; tomorrow isn’t looking any cooler 🥵 Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

NKJV Genesis 1:1-5
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
