“Another One Bites The Dust!”😳
I snapped a photo of a full logging truck, just outside of our driveway! It had just applied its “Jake break” in anticipation of the steep hill just up ahead!😮
“Silbertop, let’s hike up road, see what da loggers are doing!”🐸
“Ok PEPE……I keep hearing heavy machinery…… it’s got me curious!”😮
Keith and Lynne our neighbors at the end of our road texted Liz yesterday……………..
“Liz, the Forester’s said they are going to remove all the trees along the road. They are afraid with northeaster winds, if they leave any trees, they will blow down on the power lines!
Later, this winter they will burn the brush piles, then they plan on replanting baby trees!”👍😊
“Liz, I’m very glad our home is on the lower end of the street, away from all this!”😇
As we hiked past the clear cut, PEPE wanted to climb up on a large stump…….
“Silbertop da cut eberthing!”😮🐸
“That they did my green friend!”🙄
We continued hiking, first a stop at the pond for PEPE, then a climb up to the top of the “High Trail, for Silvertop ”!😇
As we started up towards the trailhead leading to the pond, I spotted a large crane…………..
I could also see Keith waving at us!😊
“Silvertop, all the cattails were filling in the pond. They are pumping it out, and we are going to dredge it back to where it was originally! All the kids of the neighborhood will be able to go swimming here next year!”🤗
“I bring my Lady frog friend Keith, we teach all kids how to swim wif back feet stroke next year! Maybe PEPE bring own kids to swim………Man!”🐸
I don’t think Keith was quite prepared for this very enthusiastic talking green frog Lol!😇🤣
“Keith we will catch you later, we’re hiking to the top of the ridge today!”
“Silbertop…. Maybe PEPE stay here wif Keith, probably lots of bugs to eat at bottom of pond!”🐸
Hmmmm……………..
“They are all yours my green friend, Liz has a delicious dinner planned for the two of us Lol!”😍
