DO YOU FEEL A NIP IN THE AIR?😀.....................NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀
Do you feel a nip in the air?☺️
Not quite yet my friends, it’s still Summer!😎
Silvertop, did you snap the first and second photos last Fall?🤔
Summertime in the Pacific Northwest, is extremely dry. This time of year just like clockwork, all the trees start dropping leaves to conserve moisture!
I can’t remember the last time it rained……………🤔
Hiking home last night I snapped the third photo……….my friends, the rain is coming!😅
Silvertop has been feeling “Pushed” to finish stacking my latest firewood acquisition!😇
Late last night it started……………..
“Well Silvertop, I guess I don’t need to water my garden today Lol!”🥰
Growing up in Cincinnati, I am used to Summer thunderstorms!
Dark clouds will quickly roll across the Ohio River valley. With an impressive flash of lightning, followed by a loud window rattling “Boom” of thunder, a fast and furious downpour will follow!😮
Then…. Just as quickly the Sun comes back, the storm is over!😊
In the Northwest think “Garden soaker hose” Lol!😅
The ground has been dusty dry, we really did need a good soaking!
By Noon the rain finally stopped, I went back to stacking…………..
You are looking at five cords of firewood……. Two solid winters of firewood stacked!
You can see in the following photo, that I still have much more to stack!😅
Look closely to the right just behind my “Mountain” of firewood that I still need to stack!😇
Silvertop had a “supervisor” today Lol!☺️
This is probably one of the baby Deer that grew up in Silvertop’s woods!
She was content…..she munched on Apples as I stacked firewood, not concerned about this human making a racket dropping firewood in a wheelbarrow!
“You are safe here little girl , and tell your friends that we have plenty of Apples……all are welcome!”😍
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
