“No Worries Dad, I’ve Got You!”😺
Big or small, our Feline friends, are all predators at heart!😻😳
Inside the Silvertop home, Cot my furry child has his captive, his Dad, as his prey Lol………☺️
Coffee table decorations, ballpoint pens, even my expensive prescription eyeglasses, have all been carried away at lightning speed, by my furry child!😮
“COT….. you bring my eyeglasses back here right now!”🤔
“Baby boy, Mom and Dad are going hiking at the Lynden City Park, do you want to go?”😊
With an extremely innocent look on his face, Cot flopped over on his side and “pretended” to be sleeping Lol!
So for today, it was just Liz and Silvertop hiking ………..
On the way we always pass this yard in town filled with stuffed animals!
Rain or shine, whoever lives in this house goes to a tremendous amount of work decorating their yard!😊
I just wonder how they dry out all these stuffed animals, after they get soaked from a rainstorm!😅
We turned at the next corner, and entered the main gate for the City Park!😊
“Silvertop, even though these are flat City trails, I always enjoy going for a walk here!”🥰
Along the trail numerous electric bikes zipped past us at a very fast speed!😮
A new sign read… “Type one, and type two electric bikes are allowed on the trails!”
Hmmm……………….
“Now people aren’t even peddling a bike anymore Liz, what kind of exercise is that Lol!”🙄
“Silvertop maybe we need a couple of “Real” bikes!”🥰
“Maybe a lot of people need “Real bikes” honey Lol!”😇
Stay healthy everyone, walk, bike, hike….. just enjoy!🤗
“Liz…… SLOW down, the hiking speed limit is only 10MPH, I think I saw a Lynden City cop up ahead with a radar gun Lol!”😍
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊

@silvertop, this post is a delightful slice of life! The opening with Cot the feline "predator" had me chuckling – I can totally relate! 😄 Then, the vibrant photos from your hike at Lynden City Park are fantastic. That yard with all the stuffed animals is quite the spectacle! I'm also with you on the "real bikes" sentiment; there's something so satisfying about earning those steps and views.

It's great to see you and Liz enjoying the outdoors, and your playful banter adds so much charm to your posts. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your hike and a bit of humor to brighten our day! Do you ever find new additions to the stuffed animal display each time you pass? I am curious to know how the owners maintain the figures. Keep Steemit posted on your adventures!
