"THIS LANE CLOSED ....SIR!"🙄.........................NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

“This Lane Is Closed…Sir!”😮
I heard a plumber say one time…… “That you need to go with the flow!”😇
That’s what these Cows are doing in the second photo on a blustery rainy day!
Nowhere to rush off to, just a relaxing day out in the field!😊
Silvertop had high hopes that we would miss “June-Uary” this year! For the first three weeks in June, we had beautiful sunny Summer weather………😎
After returning from our weekend at our son and daughter in law’s, the rain started!😅
“Silvertop they don’t call it “June-Uary” any more, now it’s called “June- Gloom” Lol!🥰
Hmmmm……………..🤔
“ I think I like June-Uary better honey!
You just learn to adjust to quickly changing weather conditions!☺️
Take the Cherry stand in the fourth photo……..
“Three Dollars a bowl Silvertop!”🥰
Just as Liz uttered these words, a bird swooped down and helped himself to some “Free” Cherries Lol!😇
“Well that’s creative honey, that bird doesn’t even need to work hard for his next meal, this homeowner is supplying free Cherries to all the birds today Lol!”☺️
So ….on this rainy day, Silvertop split a bit more firewood “In the rain” and Liz and I decided to make today a shopping day!😊
Now that’s what I call Northwest ingenuity, or something like that Lol!🙄
I really can’t understand the purpose of cutting that old School bus in half, but apparently someone was feeling very creative Lol!😇
Groceries, a stop at Walmart, and of course a visit to the garden center at Home Depot for the Mrs!🥰
“Look Liz, is that Sunshine?”😎
Maybe just a little…………….
This is the Pacific Northwest!😇
Till tomorrow….. bring your sunblock, I just know it will be sunny, maybe, Lol! Silvertop Mike 😊

Howdy @silvertop! I always appreciate your blend of beautiful scenery and reflective humor. "June-Gloom" indeed! The cows looking supremely unbothered by the weather are a perfect encapsulation of going with the flow! And the cherry stand anecdote is priceless – nature finding its own discounts! 😂

I also love how you power through with firewood splitting and then embrace the indoors with shopping and garden center visits. That's a true PNW day! The halved school bus definitely sparks the imagination. Thanks for sharing your sunny (and rainy) adventures. Keep on keeping on!
