Liz and Silvertop are getting ready for a “Road trip” coming up soon, so I spent the hottest part of the day outside changing the oil in the Mrs Suzuki!😅
“Liz….. the oil filter is smaller than what’s on your car!”🤔
All work stopped, as the two of us “asked Chat GBT, and then Grok, if the new filter was correct for Liz’s car………….
After several searches, including local parts houses, we discovered that the new smaller oil filter is an “Updated” filter for full synthetic oil!😇
Silvertop proceeded forward with the oil change, but by now, I was out in the blazing Sun, simply melting!🥵
“Silvertop, we can “test drive” the car to Starbucks, and then we can walk the “New” section of the Lynden City Park after you finish!”🥰
“That sounds so very nice honey!”🤗
“Silvertop, I have always wanted to walk the new section of the Park!”🥰
This section of walking trail, complete with a new suspension bridge was completed in 2024.
I had to shimmy between two four foot tall security fences, to check out how this bridge was structurally built from underneath!
“Silvertop…… what are you doing, that’s probably private property!”🤔
“I’ll be right back Liz, nobody is looking!”😇
This very heavy structure is 100 percent supported by heavy steel cables!
When the two of us walked, or should I say jumped up and down in the middle, this bridge bounced several inches up and down!😳
“Liz, it’s not far to the creek below, and it’s brand new, and only for pedestrians, I’m sure it’s OK!”☺️
Still…. You would think that the engineers would have built this to withstand the weight of more than two people without bouncing!😇
“Liz, what would happen if Bitcoin Moons tomorrow , and a half a dozen OG’s were all standing in the middle of this bridge celebrating and jumping up and down Lol!”🤣😇
