Silvertop has always said that we have a neon sign over our house that states “All animals are welcome here!” Lol!😇🤣
I have walked just outside my front door, only to see Bobcat’s and Deer!
Late at night I have heard the screeching of Cougars in my woods, and Liz has even seen one of our local “Bigfoot” Lol!😇
“Silvertop, maybe we should sleep with our bedroom windows closed tonight?”🥰
Yesterday, I discovered a good sized Hornets nest as I was attempting to pull my Starlink satellite cable through my garage attic, into our house……..
Today I needed to finish up, and “fasten” the cable in place, starting inside our mudroom in our house, and working my way back into the garage attic, with any excess cable!😇
All went smoothly, and soon I was on my tall ladder, headed up into my garage attic!😊
The lighting is very dim, until I can crawl over to the attic light switch.
Hmmm………………
I didn’t notice that on the beam yesterday!🤔
I gave the Starlink cable a tug, and something just in front of me moved!
I grabbed my iPhone, and then my flashlight!
Do I see POINTY EARS?😮
“IT” wiggled as I got closer!🙄
It’s a BAT!😳
Guys, Silvertop knows Bats are actually very good, they love to eat mosquitoes!
“These little guys can eat all the mosquitoes they like, but can he find ANOTHER place to sleep other than Silvertop’s attic Lol!”🥰
Several years ago, one of us must have come through the garage late at night and accidentally let one of these guys into our house unbeknownst to us Lol!
We were awaken, at 2 o’clock in the morning with this bat, trying to get out the skylight above our water bed!🤣😳
Liz and Silvertop, tag teamed with a laundry basket, and fish aquarium net, trying to capture this little Bat!🦇
After about an hour, Liz dropped the laundry basket over the Bat, slid cardboard underneath and we were safely able to release the Bat outside!🙄😅
How do you go to sleep after that Lol!🤣😇
“Liz, it’s almost 3 PM, I’m going to open the garage door and hope this “Sleeping Bat leaves the attic tonight, and goes out and eats some bugs!”
Hopefully I can finish up fastening the extra cable in the garage attic without the help of my nocturnal friend tomorrow Lol!😇
Silvertop really needs a hike anyway Lol……how about you!☺️
