The day was quickly slipping through my fingers😮………………..
The Mrs was up early this morning, today was a work day. Silvertop took advantage of the early morning to take care of all his indoor chores!😇
After I finished, I headed out to split some firewood, and I noticed Cot was completely upside down, sound asleep on our waterbed!😻
“Cot, don’t work too hard, Dad will be just outside if you need me!”☺️
Cot didn’t move…………….
They say Cats can hear extremely well, even while sleeping!😺
I do believe Cot was “Ghosting” Dad Lol!🤣
My daily thirty minutes of splitting firewood, quickly turned into an hour and a half…….
Silvertop was glad to be back home, and I had been missing my “Firewood workouts”!💪

I missed the last swing with my ax, listening to PEPE!😬
I think now would be a good time to stop splitting for today, and go for a hike, before I hurt myself!😇
Last week I weed whacked the “High Trail” that leads to Towhee Ridge.
“PEPE, that sounds like a nice hike for today my green friend!”😊
We followed the High Trail deep into the forest, no Sunglasses needed here!😎
Just around the next bend, the trail climbed steeply uphill, and the trail widened…………….
“Look PEPE, we have arrived….. take a load off your feet over here at the picnic table, it’s time for a break!”😊
“The Sundial says it’s 4:00 PM, that was a good hike for today my green friend!”
“PEPE ride in Silbertop’s backpack on way home, I still breaking in new green hiking boots!”🐸
“Very color coordinated my friend, hop right in, Liz will be coming home soon, we better head back!
