Brushing up my Brazilian-Portuguese (part 1). You will be able to form a small sentence after reading this post.
I taught myself Brazilian-Portuguese in a year and that allowed me to speak to my girlfriend’s family in Brazil. They don’t speak English. It was a wonderful experience. Now I’m going on a trip to Porto, Portugal and in preparation for the trip I wanted to brush up my Portuguese knowledge. I thought it might be fun to share the basics.

Me with Bianca's family in Brasil
I find Brazilian Portuguese to be a very logical language to learn. Of course like any other language they have a few (nasty) exceptions, but for the most part if you learn a few simple rules you will be able to have a basic conversation really fast. For this beginner lesson I will be using only regular rules.
By the end of this lesson you will be able to say in Brazilian-Portuguese (among allot of other things):
'I like Steemit!'
