When I was a child, in the USA, the late 1950s, a loaf bread was around 10 cents, a silver dime. Today, the same silver dime is about $1.10 or the same price as a loaf of bread. The dollar changed. The silver dime and loaf of bread stayed the same.
Now I need to know where you buy your Bread... lol...
I used to think the same way... After Thousands of Years, if your Ancestors handed down an Ounce of Gold from one Generation to the next, you'll still be able to buy a New Suit of Clothing... Other than being a Good Store of Value, tell me something else good about Gold...
