SC S25W5: Drawing Realistic Style Anime

Greetings

I am happy to participate in this engagement challenge of week 5 where I choosed light yagami as protagonist of Death note anime series and in these series it's an intriguing character having extraordinary brilliance and high moral values in him.Let's learn that how to draw this anime character through step by step procedure!

Required materials

• A blank paper.
• Graphite pencil.
• Eraser.
• Sharpener.

Step by step sketching

I started creating this drawing by drawing face shape which was long in shape and have a very sharp jawline.After that I sketch neck which was not long in shape.Then I traced shoulders which was bit descending downward.

In this step I am drawing coat of this character so first draw collars of coat and then I move down where I have shown shirt that this character is wearing under coat.Arm and hand was drawn by me at left side which was equal to chest level and fingers are pointing in downward direction.On other hand at right arm was just hanging downward.After that in next step I have to draw shape of head which is large but round from top.

I started sketching head and forehead of anime by taking start from left side and then continuing sketching it to right side where hair was descending towards neck.Then I make hair projections for giving hair more prominence and beauty.

Now it's a time to draw facial features in which eyes are normal in size as these are not much small nor much larger in shape because here I am drawing a realistic style character and then I draw nose and lips shape of anime character.

Now it is time to add shades in final sketch.I have added dark shades in some areas like under collars,at coat foldings,at arm folds because these areas particularly shows that there is shadow in that areas.

While I added light shades in that areas which don't need to give more prominence like from margins I started to add dark shades and as I move far from margins I added light shades very gently and here you can see final look of drawing
