Cultural music type that I have choosed for reflecting my culture is qawali in which there is sufiyana kalam a type of music which has been very useful in giving shape to traditions and values of Pakistan.So it's a mystical type of expression which is fostering sense of community, promotion of love, compassion as well as spiritual growth.

Sufism is playing a major role in to foster interfaith dialogue as well as harmony, creation of a ground for people which are from diverse background for coming together and sharing experiences.

Sufiyana networks means people link with sufism and with shrines are facilitating exchange in different cultures and in different regions which is a way of enriching culture of Pakistan not only in my country but also in international level.

Sufism is a great way of promoting social interactions, cohesion and building communities with shrines of that well ranked personalities which is a way of creation of belonging in people of Pakistan.

Sufiyana kalam have a major impact at self realization and development spiritually so in this way this music is giving shape to spiritual landscape of Pakistan which guide thousands in spiritual pursuit.

Sufiyana kalam have a lot of beautiful songs with beautiful and meaningful poetry that spread wisdom among people by beautifully describing messages of Allah and humanity in general.

There are also sufiyana inspired art work present which introduces different styles and provides multiple forums in which one of most famous is sadequain murals which bears a deepest political and personal meanings.

Sufiyana kalam is shaping cultural identification of Pakistan which shows Pakistan values, culture and customs hence, continue inspiring and guiding today's people.

Let's talk about my role in adding touch of creativity in making remix of a sufiyana kalam so I used bandlab for making remix of Lal meri pat kalam.I seperated vocal from splitify tool and then I added drum beats in song, changed its original tempo from 100 to 90 and in this way the remix I tried my best to get is below 👇

In video the context of lyrics is explained in which important is that here in this kalam there is praise of Lal shehbaz qalandar who was a great person and a Sufi lived in Sindh province of Pakistan,in sehvan shareef city.He wrote a lot of poetries related to Allah, humanity and he promoted Sufism and people give him a lot of respect and thousands of people visit his shrine everyday.

Qawali

Qawali is type of music containing sufiyana kalam too that I have discussed already and it is originated from subcontinent when Pakistan and India community lived at same place.Behind qawali there is deepest cultural story and its roots basically starts from sufism which mainly focuses at spiritual journeys of a person through which a person go through love and knowledge of divine and humanity.

• Qawali is one of unique way to show that there's spiritual longing and presence of divinity.
• Qawali performances most of time takes place at Sufi shrines but this is difference in past and present that now qawali nights are conducted properly at weddings also and here music is believed for facilitating growth in a spiritual way.
• Lyrics of qawali are based at poetry of sufi poets which normally likes to write about themes of preaching Allah messages, imparting love and spirituality.

Sufiyana kalam

Sufiyana kalam is basically expressions of sufi mystics in form of poetry about which I have discussed in brief already.Sufiyana kalam have its roots in Sindh according to Pakistan provinces.

• Sufiyana kalam are a form of music which is a great way for seeking out love, humanity and divinity themes which focus at introspection.
• Sufiyana poetry mostly use symbols and metaphors in other words for giving expressions of deep emotions.
• Sufiyana music have a great impact at literature not only in Pakistan,also in history and at global level.

Bhangra

Bhangra is a traditional folk dance which have its roots in punjab and it is originated again from the times when India and Pakistan were not considered a separate nation,in subcontinent.According to history there was a Punjabi man who started bhangra dance when his crop was about to harvest.

• Bhangra in Pakistan is performed at weddings,at events for showing a lot of joy or celebrations.
• Bhangra is enjoyed and performed in reflecting community and social interactions importance in culture of Punjab.
• Bhangra from start accompanied by energetic, electronic movements you can say through which vibrant spirit of Punjab culture is reflected.

Cross-culture element

Cross culture element is all about adding a touch of another culture music or dance so it's an additional thing I have added in my post.I am singing Ye Lili Ye leela song which is nowhere in Pakistan culture because in Pakistan Punjabi Sindhi pashtun and Urdu are common languages so singing in another language, adapting other culture was not challaging but it was interesting for me really!
