SC S25W5: Drawing Realistic Style Anime

Hello friends

It's season 25 and week 5 of anime drawing.Spike Spiegel is my favourite anime in realistic style and I am happy to draw this anime and share it with steemians so when we look into depth of this character then Cowboy Bebop are wonderful anime series from which this character belongs and he likes to travel through space,have a lot of popularity because of laid back attitude characteristics,skills like saxophone etc.In these series there's a great touch of fiction, actions and science so these series are informative too.

Materials we need for drawing are:-

        White A4 quality paper.
        Lead pencil or graphite pencil.
        Black pointer.
        Erasor.
        Sharpener.

Steps from sketching to shading

Sketching

Face sketch is most important and first step whenever you have to draw a sketch so I tried my best to draw face with proper proportions where is little turned at left side that's why it seems to more slim from opposite side.

I draw hair structure and projections properly which is covering face structure from left and right with equal proportion.Important to note is that head is bigger than face.

I draw eyes,nose and lips in which both eyes were more prominent from median of face and eyes are looking expressive whereas nose seems to be long in shape and both lips and nose are not prominent in this character.

Finally I completed sketching by drawing collars and coat where shoulder margins where facing in direction of trunk or upper body.I truly differentiated neck region from collars and coat.

Outlining

I used black pointer for outlining sketch that I made already because it is important for adding more beauty in final look of drawing.I filled jet black colour in hair finally.

Shading

I clearly add dark shades under collar,at face side which is turned and add dark shade at half of neck diagonally to show there is reflection at neck,under coat sides,at margins of coat and at shirt showing under coat.

I added light shades at top of collars,at front of whole coat,very light shade in neck and in face and realistic style anime Spike Spiegel is ready.
