SC S25W6: Drawing my Anime character.

It's week 6 which is about delving into world of imaginations and art so the character I am drawing today is Sora Shinoda in which word sora means heaven or sky,Shinoda refers to field so this name of a young male anime character is reflecting a person heaving a heart like heaven and field of goodness and that's the reason of choosing this name for my art.

Characteristics of sora shinoda

• Sora Shinoda have short but spiky hair and his face have a shine of curiosity.
• According to his name he is a character seems to be passionate about photography, nature and hiking.
• He have a very strong sense of being steadfast and determined and that's why he is a successful character.
• Sora is a motivating character who always tries to be ambitious and motivation is driven by beauty of nature and his dreams in him.

Shutter steps should be name of series in which sora shinoda can be a major or main character where he will be very ambitious about achieving his life goals by loving photography, hiking etc while facing various challenges side by side.

Materials needed

             Graphite pencil 
             A blank paper 
             Erasor 
             Sharpener 
             Black pointer 

Sketching

I started sketching by using a graphite pencil where I draw face shape that was wide from bottom of face or from chin and then hair were projecting outward while from centre it was in inward direction.

I draw neck of anime which was not much prominent and then round neck of anime shirt which he is wearing with half sleeves,pants with pockets at front and hands covered with pockets.

Finally sketch was completed by drawing eyes which were long and round in shape and lips were shown curved while nose was not much prominent.

Outlining

Black pointer was used for highlighting sketching by outlining so gently I done with this step after which I added areas of lightness and darkness in drawing.

Shading

I add dark black shade with marker in hair and in pant pockets while dark grey shade with graphite pencil in pants and dark but bit lighter than pants I added shade in shirt also which was more darker from armpits and from waist and arm margins.In arms and neck I fill light shade which was more lighter in face and this is final look after shading.
