Eight Years on Steemit Block Chain Part Zero

August of the year 2025 A.D. marked my eight year on the Steemit Blockchain network. It was eight years full of anguish, fury, positivity and joy. The most perfectly accurate way of describing it is by showing everything that I did in the past eight years through the lens of the blockchain itself. You will be surprised that hard fork that happened a few years ago created the Hive network. This goes to show that even the Hive network cannot deny my contributions to this network. It is the most solid proof that veritably shows, I have spent the last eight years crafting original stories and narratives. It goes to show that I did not spam the Steemit Network. It is the best evidence that I was not concerned about enriching myself at the expense of creating and publishing quality content. I did everything I could to prove that I am one of the best bloggers in this blockchain network. I think that I have succeeded. An independent auditing of my past accomplishments and major blunder was recorded by two blockchain networks. For as long as they exist. My body of work exists.

What I intend to do is to present the snapshots of what I did as recorded by Steemit Network. The amount which I received in form of rewards were included. The accounts that I interacted with using Steem tokens and SBD tokens is also included. The automated system that allowed me to earn while I am sleeping. This is the most unique way of presenting stories on Steemit blockchain. I am proud to say that I am the very first to do this. You will never see anyone making this kind of content. The blockchain in itself will not be able to tell you all the details but my personal knowledge and commentaries will add to the beauty of this style of storytelling. This is not a spam for this is the Steemit blockchain diary of an old man. I hope that this will inspire other Steemit bloggers to finally quit plagiarizing a fellow Steemians post.

Please refer to the photograph above for certain details and then we shall add my recollection for certain emotions and synapse to be tickled. The account @auskiwi “initiated” the very first transaction ever recorded in my Steemit Wallet. It was the very first lesson that I have learned from a fellow Steemian as I have received 0.02 SBD. From this day on I was able to conclude that I can send a message by attaching a message through a very simple cryptocurrency transfer within the Steemit blockchain network. My conclusion is still applicable today. It was also safe for me to say that Steemians can send messages back and forth since all monetary transactions in the Steemit blockchain network have zero fees. The minimum amount that you can send is 0.001 units which is special as @auskiwi have sent 0.002 SBD. I also have received my very first reward from the rewards pool (Thank you). A portion of my earnings was transferred to savings. I have recorded 4 transactions from August 22, 2017 through August 27, 2017 as seen through the snapshot. The month of August back in 2017 A.D. exposed me to the fact that I did not even know what it is that I am going to write about. The moment that I relied on my creativity and imagination was my Eureka moment. I was able to write a very short piece about placebo effect and it opened infinite number of doors for me. I am glad that the rewards pool noticed my work. They supported me all these years. The rewards pool is an entity in my opinion even back then. Meaning, not about anyone can catch their attention. My first month in the blockchain was indeed fruitful.

After claiming my rewards from the previous snapshot, I transferred it to savings. During that time (2017) this idea or concept is unparalleled and up until today I could spot different platforms adopting the idea of staking which was power up in the universe of Steemit. They have the concept of curation rewards for upvoters. The upvote you make is as potent as your Steem Power level. I have claimed more rewards the same day (August 27, 2017) which was also unique during that time. All the blogging platforms before the birth of Steemit was for lack of a better term exploitative. Only Steemit has a structure built in that will be soon labeled as Proof Of Brain (POB). Another unique concept which was emulated for most part by the envious entities. You will notice “blocktrades” in the transaction database. This is a companion trading platform that handled Steemit token conversions and multi chain conversions as well. I came to love it since I was not used to spot trade being stuck in limbo once my bid turns out to be too low or too high. As you can see I also performed a staking operation to end this portion of my blockchain snapshot.

The words vesting and vesting shares was also created by the Steemit network. Remember that these are trailblazing implementations in the year 2017 A.D. Steemit network implemented all these and most of the kids nowadays take it for granted not knowing that it all started right here. The full implementation being imprinted in blockchain for all the world to see. The transparency is 100% and everyone can take a look at the marvel that the Steemit network has created. Nothing is being swept under the rug. Nothing is being kept in secrecy. Your success and failure is in the blockchain. If all you do is copy the work of others it will be seen. Those who downvoted shall be seen as well. The snapshot also revealed that I claimed two more rewards before utilizing @blocktrades to convert a few tenths of my Steem Backed Dollars into Steem token. Then I proceeded to power up (stake) , apparently to increase my curation rewards through upvotes.

Take note of the date stamps most of the recorded activities occurred in a single day (August the 28th) . Most of us will agree that this is better than the pen and paper ledger that we have used most of our lives. Nobody can dispute that the Steemit network has eight years worth of recordings to flex and brag , and that it is really indeed a time tested blockchain. For the first time I was able to claim tokens greater than 1 unit of the same. Again, even though @auskiwi is not obligated to do this he returned a couple of tokens to show gratitude.

This screenshot has newer notices to show including convert request amongst others. The transfer of fund system is now a promotion tool for the innovative crowd. I am exploring joining groups and guilds that will help me grow in this network during this stage. Most of them will require you to pay a few thousandths of Steemit tokens to join. Unfortunately most of them are just lazy. Most of them dropped me under the bus. And once they see me again they shall try the same old devilish implementations and traps.

From the Republic of the Philippines at the age of 39, I am proud to create my very first electronic spot trade with Steemit. I just realized that Steemit taught me the art of high tech spot trading. The time when cryptocurrency trading regulations where non-existent. Steemit provided me with the tools to learn it and I still cherish it. You will notice that Steem is more expensive than SBD back then. Now it is the reverse.

The order which was filled was received by my Steemit Wallet. Transferred to savings as evidenced by the blockchain information. I was able to claim 0.015 SBD and 0.015 SP. Then I proceeded to create my second electronic spot in my entire life. All of these are sort of my foundational practicum in cryptocurrency trading. I have honed my trading skills thanks to Steemit.

After receiving I staked (power up) my tokens to obtain more resources. Having less resource would mean lesser bandwidth. Today after a couple of Hard Forks, it will always be referred to as Mana. The vesting is completed is short of saying that the whole process of staking was a huge success.

You will not cease to be amazed by the fact that there is an order identification for every spot trade that has been successfully filled by the network. After staking it was then verified and confirmed.

The Bitshares Network has a group that created the Open Ledger System which serves as Bitshares Wallet and decentralized exchange. I transferred a few of my hard earned Steemit tokens which in return initiated an in invisible spot trading action. I received what I wanted and was satisfied by what I witnessed. The exchange was confirmed. I claimed rewards for that day and allowed @blocktrades to execute a spot trade.

The evidence of a screenshot speaks for itself. The first day of September 2017 is at hand. I registered for a Steemit account in the middle of August and then they approved the account creation a few days later. I tried to improvise in just a few short days and during the process I learned micro trading and micro transferring using the tools that Steemit has provided. A month has passed and a new one was about to begin. I claimed my rewards and then went through with the power up routine. It was confirmed by the network as evidenced by the vesting shares that I received. Transferred atleast a unit of Steem Backed Dollar to @blocktrades which is becoming a seemingly seamless task. I obtained my Steem and then powered up for the second time on the same day. The experience that I obtained by doing the Steemit “practicum” is priceless.

Not everybody will have the ability compared to those so called gifted writers. But being innovative is a must to create fresh stories that is evidenced based yet thriving in peculiarity. The Steemit Network proved that in the past 8 years nobody was able to succeed with 51% attack. Since my record has not been altered all these years. Steemit is best way to preserve memories, as simple as that. To be continued.
