Man I think that bag is awesome actually I just bought my first leather sewing awl and pack of scrap leather parts from Hobby Lobby last week. I want to learn to do these things as well I love good quality leather goods. New follower here looking forward to possibly learning some leatherworking skills from you. Be blessed talk to you soon
I'm glad you like it. I haven't been doing leather and Kydex long. Only a couple of years. You can do it too. I started exactly like you did. Hobby Lobby and scrap leather. Most of all you have to have fun with it. You will make some mistakes but learn from it and don't give up! Good luck my friend. God Bless!

You can find bags of scrap leather online cheaper than in store. People tend to sell it buy the pound.
