[BUSINESS INSIGHT] How to get a revolutionary idea?
What determines a truly revolutionary innovation?
Simply put, it destroys the basic assumptions about how the world works, and appears something radically different from what it used to be.
So if you want to develop a large-scale innovative idea, you need to start with a perspective that is aimed at this idea.
For example,
Try to come up with a way to do something ten times better than it already is. That is, think in the proportion of 10+.
Here's an analogy: if a person with standard thinking tries to find a way to make the horse go faster, a person with 10+ thinking invents the car.
Thinking 10+ may seem daunting, but studies show, that we can achieve the highest potential of our potential when we are striving for more. These grandiose ideas may be more difficult to implement, but you will encounter fewer competitors, going for your dream. Great ambitions will also motivate you to make even greater efforts.
But of course,
You can not fulfill your dreams alone, you must convince others to support you.
To attract the attention of people, you could organize a big flash mob or even a demonstration. "Red Bull", for example, once arranged a free fall attraction from a huge height, as a marketing trick.
Although these tricks attract attention, remember, that your ideas should be useful if you want to achieve sustainable success.
For example, Lady Gaga: a recipe for her success - outrageous costumes and music videos were a genius marketing move and attracted a lot of attention to her, but she also did great music and behaved with dignity, which allowed her to create a huge army of dedicated fans.
So if you are hoping to generate income from innovation, it's easier for you to enlist the support of a large number of people: it's hard to convince someone to invest in your business if a possible outcome leads only to a small increase in value.
It is much easier to get support, if you are trying to get something that will be steeper than the existing 10+.
