This is not critics, photographer decides how to shoot 100% of time. What i meant is that i am intrigued what shoes was he wearing :) And when image raises questions it is great work :) By the way , in short, what is american plan? Never heard of it yet.
It's called "American plan" because they started shooting like this for Western films, to show the character and their pistols hanging from their belt.
I didn't took this as a critic, i am very glad when someone has a point of view ;) @bescouted
@georgian, you know @bescouted is quite right this time. If you wanted to emphasize contrast, than his shoes would be a crowning point! Whatever he had on his feet, or if he was barefoot, that would be most interesting to see. Photo is unusual enough as it is, I upvoted it, but there is a sense of a missed chance :)
@georgian is just teasing us on purpose. Do you have an image with the shoes lol ? Many thanks for the explanation, and it was not supposed to be critics just my curiosity about boots of this gentleman. I am shoe addict lol
