Don't know if you have to take opiates, but if you do, you should try Kratom. It works really well and it's natural. You can find it at smoke shops.
I have managed to stay off opiates, myself. I have heard great things about kratom. Some folks even held a kratom festival here, this year. There have been many more opiate deaths around here in the past few years.
