I suppose one can do that. I’ll just be using what I use in my grow. Cal/mag and molasses towards the end. And no not a mother just going to flower a plant out in a solo cup and see who gets the biggest yield. You still have time to start yours.
I was referring to the 3rd seedling you mentioned.

Oh yeah. So I will just grow that like i normally grow. No mother, but i will take clones before i give it away it put it in flower room. So this way i wont waste it by growing it out in a solo cup.
I think the real strategy is decided how long you let it veg. You don’t want it to stop growing cause you are root bound
Yeah, and are there strategies to get around that, or hold it off longer, etc.
It reminds me a little bit about wooden boxcar racing, which I did in Scouts (with my dad). Certain parameters are locked, others are flexible, and you can max them out to win.
Strain is obviously a huge factor.

That's what I was thinking too. I'm interested to see what happens. In a way, it's like a science experiment, with a contest vibe.
