triumphing over addiction with medicinal photography

Photographing cannabis - especially cannabis I'm growing and using as medicine - is therapeutic for me.

Today is day 5 without Effexor. I've kicked the habit, but the venlafaxine itself takes weeks to drain from the user's bloodstream and tissues.

Using cannabis heals my body and mind. Photographing and sharing my art with others feels like it's part of that healing.

Yesterday (day 4) was fairly rough - about as bad as day 3, but not worse.

Today (day 5) has been slightly better, and I believe I'm through the worst of it!

Lovely trichomes all over! I notice about 20% of pistils are turning orange. This is normal for a plant 5 weeks into its reproductive ("flowering") cycle. Unfortunately, my male "No Beef" died without producing any pollen, so this lovely young lady will be unfulfilled until the end. She's producing plenty of great cannabinoids for me this way, though!

Stay tuned here to watch my current crop finish and me extracting the oils for edibles and dabs. Thank YOU for being a part of my healing.

Grow in peace,
DRutter
