First of all, @lily-da-vine, has always been inspirational to me because of the courage she and her partner had to leave for a better place. They did the right and brave thing, and that is rare these days. Most people are not warriors. They are not courageous. I applaud and respect the warriors. We are a rare breed these days for sure!

I believe we are electrical beings, and we are already immortal. Time limitations are therefore a gray area for me. My hope is to further individual liberty as much as possible while still in this physical form. I try to be as productive as possible to do the most good in other words. The motivation I have isn't stressful though, and I feel like my efforts are being well spent.

You mentioned conformity and social "norms." They are mostly control mechanisms as you know. I don't like them either. If what I'm doing isn't harming you or your property, you should mind your own business, right? I've never been into the idea of fitting in to get along either. Even when I was a teenager, I didn't care about hair or clothing norms. I wore what I wanted to wear.

These days I have grown my hair out too, and it is funny how much crap I get from men especially about it. The balding men are the worst. When they make fun of my hair being long, my typical response is, "Well, at least I can grow mine out." Hey, they started it, so I give it right back. LOL I dress for function too, not for the popular style of the day.

Today more than ever we need more touch and more experiences in nature. I could never live far from a forest, and I always feel most at ease when in one. It is just something built into me, and I believe everyone has that. Most just never embrace and expand it. The fir oil is very cool, for the smell of a forest is wonderful. It's best to smell it yourself though amongst the fir trees! Make some tea from the twigs too while you're there.

Lastly, we were designed to be touched. As electrical beings, why else would we have physical bodies? It has to be one of the primary reasons for them. We are wired to enjoy touch from our loved ones too. When my daughter was born a month early, I would spend hours a day at the NICU just laying her on my chest. Babies need that physical touch, or they do not develop properly. Adults are no different though. It is unfortunate that humans don't touch each other much these days.
