RE: Perpetual Indoor/Outdoor Grow Journal #10: My Tent Is Ready After Some Pain!

in #cannabis7 years ago

I put together a 3x3x8' grow tent earlier this year- an additional one to the 3x3x6 we already had and I wish I had two of the taller ones. Some of your plants, even with topping them twice, seem to keep on growing and growing.

Great update.

The higher the better... no pun intended :D

I'll be showing LST tricks to keep the plants very low though, so stay tuned!

I'm on my third crop right now. The first was a mixture and a test run. Came out decent. The second one was sour diesel and was apparently quite good according to everyone who sampled it.

Right now I have AK47 (2), Blueberry Kush (2) and Mac N Kush (2). In their fifth week of vegetation. Having a issue with one of the BK is having manganese issues with the yellow/brown dots. Keep flushing out the soil (using coco coir this time)... trying the foliar feeding and seems to be working; just time consuming. Hoping the issue won't cause a lower yield.

Sad thing is, I don't consume any... just the grower, nutrient lady and keeping of the grow tent.

Hmm never grew any of these strains, but manganese deficiency is xtremely rare for one reason, it's a micronutrient that easily gets provided in healthy soil... but then coco coir is technically soilless - if you go back a few days on my blog, you're gonna find a post explaining the difference - so you should treat it like a hydro medium. It's basically inert, so it needs to be enriched or regularly pumped with nutes if you're going with a feeding schedule.

If you post a few pics, I could probably tell you what this deficiency really is.

And if you don't consume it, someone else will, so it's all good :)

Yeh I tried once with coco and hated it lol, but since then a bit in the soil is nice :)
