Cannapedia series #28: The Blackberry kush
The bio-diesel didn’t put us into a bio warfare and of course we’re here for yet another page in our cannapedia series, we are building a big book, happy to say that!, we’re almost three decades of pages on this journey and it doesn’t seem anywhere near closure, I guess the last page will have a red colour… lol. That’s by the way, welcome to the twenty-eight issue of our cannapedia series and if you’re joining us for the first time today, then it’s really advisable you check out our previous issues and hopefully you’ll have much to read.
Last time we discussed the bio-diesel cannabis strain and for every part of it, I felt like we will be heading for World War III, the equal indica and sativa feeling distorts the cerebrals, plunging you into a cool and energetic feeling, you might have a hard time determining which feeling is dominant, not your fault though, they are actually equal, the bio-diesel represents a shift in the concept of cannabis breeding with four strains coming together to create this amazing strain, three diesels and the sensi star, flip back a bit to read up…
Now the business of today, we have on our table a popular strain, or at least a popular name, popular amongst the stoners and also amongst the telecommunications industries and of course, the nutrition firms, The Black Berry kush, unarguably that sounds like a term you just heard yesterday, no doubt, we come across it every day. Very much popular in Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego, the black berry lush is a very pronounced cannabis strain and probably one of your favorite strains if you live in these states.
The lineage of the black berry lush remains a mystery as regards which strain was actually paired with the Afghani Kush to produce the black berry kush, while many claims an Afghani kush and Bubba kush union, the Blue berry strain have also been dubbed to companion of the Afghani kush to yield the Black Berry kush, many also claims the black berry cannabis strain paired with the Afghani kush to produce the Black Berry kush, which seems more realistic anyways.
With 80% indica and about 20% sativa and about 2% CBN, the black berry kush is top choice strain in the treatment of chronic or acute pain and management of insomnia due to its cool and calming feelings which plunges the smoker into a rare euphoria, happy and relaxing feeling typical of the Indica dominant strains, however, the black berry kush does this in very amazing manner that you would choose it over many other strains with even higher indica, it’s sweet earthy, berry scent gives you a clue that you’ll actually be going for a smooth ride, the jet fuel scent actualizes this dream and you could feel the amazing calmness. With a THC level of 13% on the average and about 20% highest recorded level, the black berry kush might not have much potency as other high THC strain, however its ability can’t be doubted.
Growing the black berry kush strain is of moderate difficulty, amateur growers might find it a bit tedious managing this strain, however, indoor growth have reported the higher yield, though moderate with about 1-3oz per square feet of plant, flowering starts in 7–8 weeks.
Opinions: What’s your take on this strain?
