Agreed on both accounts for sure. My personal pieces are all refillable, for that and other reasons. There is definitely a trend towards disposable, I have been seeing more companies producing units similar to this free sample I received. The regulations themselves produce a lot of waste, there is a big effort to push for easier ways to operate more environmentally friendly in the legal Colorado market.
