RE: The most durable car I ever owned
So what was the reason you could hardly drive faster as 100 km?
There still are cars who hardly can. Might be an European thing where we are not allowed to drive fast or the fact these cars are noisy anyway and build of low budget material.
Everything mechanic is still not strange up here and I am happy about it. New cars: if 1 thing falls out it can have 10 different causes and no more mechanic knows where to find it. If they fix it 3 other things are broke.

yes! Cars became too complicated and that is why no one can work on it. The interior of this thing reminded me of simpler times. Nothing was digital and even the windows had door cranks. After driving the car halfway underwater it fried the radio and since there was a mix-tape stuck in there anyway, i was perfectly ok with that.
The car wouldn't go faster than 100km / hour because this was meant to be an off road car. Normally this wasn't a problem because I almost never drove great distances in it, but sometimes I needed to stay over to the left and get out of the way.... however this has a lot to do with the fact that the highways in Thailand do have speed limit signs, but they don't have any real enforcement so everyone just does whatever.
Thanks for explaining. Like the inside, chair and what is on the floor. Could use that here against the mud.
