I found him on a jobsite back in December. He was duper skinny, full of flees, mange and mites. He was howling at a tree stump while standing in the middle of the road as if he were lost. Now he's fat and happy. I love that boy.
Awww, I love stories like that! The two cats we've had over the past 30ish years (first Baby, now Sid) have both adopted us after being strays. Sid was always ridiculously sociable, but it took Baby a loooong time to trust us enough to come inside our apartment. There's just something about the transformation from scared & skinny to happy and fat that is so heart-pokingly awesome.
