About Being a Proud Cat Dad
Greetings, cat-loving hitchhikers!
I got this beautiful pair of socks from my partner this last weekend, and I'm completely in love with them. They basically define a big part of my personality, or a big part of my working routine, to be more precise: cats, coffe, and a notebook.
For real, is it even possible to not like this nerdy caffeine-fueled cat?!
I had the pleasure of having my two little furry balls of cuteness sleeping at my bed at the time of the picture, so I decided to make the photo include them at the back.
It's incredible how much they like to be around me during my working days here at home. I plan on writing in more depth about this work tomorrow, if you're curious, but there's no denying that my most loyal companions during these working from home days have been these two beautiful beings.
I've written multiple times about how special it's been taking care of them for this last year and a half, but I wanted to verbalize as well the importance of feeling responsible for another life. It does not only bring purpose, but it also brings joy. It's almost funny how happy I feel sometimes to see them doing something to get my attention for the eleventh time that same day, and I smile. I smile so frequently being around these curly creatures; and I do love smiling.
Really, is it even possible not to smile seeing these beautiful things laying on your bed?
And right now, as I lay down my bed, one of them tries to go out the window to explore the world, while the other begs for my attention being charming in their own special way.
They like to vary with whom they sleep with, which is actually kind of cute. In their particular way, they visit different beds during different periods.
But the one place they will never leave, is my human heart <3
