Happy Caturday! We're Having Houseguests... Including a DOG!

It's Saturday again, and you all know what that means! CATURDAY!
We're Having Houseguests — UGH!
I tend to like my nice daily routines, but this weekend, we're having houseguests! Well, not exactly houseguests, but the Daughter-Hooman is visiting from Seattle — which is cool — but she brings her DOG! Meeeowrrr! The horror!
Oh no, that THING is here again!
As you probably know, I get along pretty well with our own dog Daisy... but this little roaming creature has no idea of how to behave around a cat, and he's just roving all over the place getting into everything...
I am going to have to seek refuge in the Hooman's office and just stay out of the way for a couple of days...
Uh-oh, here it comes now...
I'm not much for giving up my sunny spots, but this dog seriously lacks respect for other creatures' personal space... but I can't argue too much about it, since the Daughter-Hooman helps out with photos and keeping up with the Curator Cat blog...

Meanwhile, #Minnow-ASAP Round 2 Begins!
On the newsfront, @hitmeasap has announced the beginning of "Round Two" of the #Minnow-ASAP initiative. It's a great program for those wanting to grow their accounts, and it is now being jun in conjunction with @steevc's #tenkminnows initiative.
As you might remember, I was a beneficiary of the first "season," for which I am very grateful as I got lots of new attention and my SP is rapidly closing on the 500SP "Minnow" limit.
Anyway, I encourage you to read the round two announcement here and support the five new Steemians chosen to be beneficiaries of the program!
The way to build a stonger community is by everyone supporting each each other's efforts!

Ah yes @fiberfrau, I'm well familiar with "mini Hoomans." They are noisy and not always very nice o cats, even though they know they are supposed to be!

Sir Obie1Kanobie had a guest dog for entire month last month, was a good combo, I was quite shocked. The labradoodle was much better behaved than Obie!! LOL.... He actually became buddies with him. Cool on the second round thang, especially since I just hit over 200SP... lol!!
Wow... a whole month! Truthfully, I am very good friends with Daisy, our own dog... but she's older and quite calm, and she likes cats. The visiting dog is quite young, extremely "boisterous* and always moving around... makes me nervous!
Congrats on being part of the #minnowasap project; it gave me quite a lift; hopefully it will work well for you, too!

Haven't much experience with owls — aside from my Mom-Hooman's plush toy owl — but I have seen a cute YouTube clip of a black cat and an owl that were best friends.
