A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

What one sees when taking a photo:

When you lift your camera or phone, you notice the world around you—the way the sunlight filters through leaves, the colors blending in a sunset, a tiny flower blooming in the grass or a busy street filled with movement. Everything seems paused just for a moment, waiting to be captured.

What one feels when taking a photo:

There's a quiet sense of focus and wonder. You feel connected to the moment, eager to hold onto that fleeting beauty. Sometimes, there’s excitement in finding the perfect shot, and at other times, a peaceful calm as you simply watch and listen, king that this picture is a little piece of time you’re saving.

Poem: What Someone Thinks When Taking Photos

In this quiet click, my world slows down,
A moment caught before it's gone,
A whisper of colors, light, and sound,
A memory stitched into a song.

I see the dance of shadows and sun,
A story hidden in a simple frame,
A silent thought that can’t be undone,
A fleeting joy, a gentle flame.

Through my lens, I try to find,
The magic hiding in plain sight,
To hold forever what I’ve left behind,
And turn a moment into light.
