Poetic Thoughts on a Rainy Day
The day began with the rain's loud greetings, a slippery start.
A long time was spent joking with family, their words filling me with laughter. Then, a sudden moment of boredom reminded me of a little sister to annoy.
We were hungry, so we ate delicious roasted corn. We just had fun, not caring about the wet, slippery floor we later had to mop.
An evening walk followed, though I've neglected Actifit for a while. I miss the beautiful sunset, but I still love the cool atmosphere that brings a unique calmness.
Oh, what a day. Now it's time to return to sweet dreams.
You have a great way of telling. I loved reading you. I agree that the rain has a calming affect. Another plus is we can do things/little tasks at home without the need to leave because the weather let us.
It's good to have some good daily laughs. Great you had them.
