Shukh Sagor Eco Park,Dinajpur

Today I am going to tell you about a remarkable place in Dinajpur. So, let’s get started,

To the southwest of Dinajpur Sadar Upazila, there is a large pond. This pond is named “Sukh Sagar.” Sukh Sagar is located about 2 kilometers away from Dinajpur town, inside a village.

The builder of this pond was Raja Shree Nath Roy. Around the 1800s, he excavated this pond. Basically, this pond was dug for the supply of pure drinking water to the people and to enhance the beauty of the area. The pond covers an area of approximately 10 acres.

This is the entrance gate of Sukh Sagar Eco Park. After entering through this gate, tourist cottages/bungalows can be seen. The gate of the bungalow has been beautifully designed. Inside the gate, one can see small green trees arranged all around. Under one of these trees, there is a sitting spot made for visitors. The cottage is surrounded by boundaries.

Coming out of the cottage and moving forward along the road, one can see the Dinajpur Tourism Map. This map shows pictures of all tourist spots in Rangpur Division and the map itself is highlighted. Next to it lies the Sukh Sagar Map, which illustrates all the structures inside Sukh Sagar Eco Park.

	I was admiring its beauty.

Anyone will enjoy visiting the aesthetic environment of Sukh Sagar. The beauty of this vast pond will fascinate everyone. Its sides are bordered with stairs. Sitting there, I was admiring its beauty.

Green trees can be seen along with an RCC culvert nearby. It looks very beautiful, and capturing pictures here turns out really nice. There are also well-managed canteen facilities available here.The canteen here serves a good variety of food.

Walking along the side of Sukh Sagar pond, there is a narrow paved road with lots of trees. Everyone enjoys walking along this row of green trees. I walked ahead along the road under the green trees. By the pond’s edge, there are RCC benches where visitors can sit and observe the beauty of Sukh Sagar pond.

There is also car parking available here. Basically, on holidays, this place becomes quite crowded. For children, there are swings and slides. There are also arrangements for offering prayers.
