Hello everyone

This morning, I had a bit of a worrying situation—my car was having some minor issues, which made me anxious. I decided to take it in for a check-up, only to find out that I needed to schedule an appointment in advance before they could inspect it.

Originally, I had planned to get the car serviced at a center near my home in Phuket, but since I had to leave earlier than expected, I didn’t have the chance to do so. Even though the issue wasn’t serious, it was enough to make me feel uneasy while traveling.

Since I couldn’t get a service appointment right away, I decided to visit a nearby temple instead—one located close to the resort where I was staying. I wanted to make merit and pray for my husband’s recovery from his illness.

Locals strongly believe that the large Buddha statue at this temple is highly sacred and powerful—many people have had their prayers answered here. Hearing this gave me hope, and I felt that making a visit would bring me peace of mind during my journey. 🙏✨

I drove straight to Wat Klang Bang Phra, which was conveniently located just two kilometers from the resort where I had stayed.

As I approached the temple, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful lotus flowers in full bloom along the side of the grounds. Since I absolutely love lotus flowers, I couldn’t resist pulling over to capture some photos before heading inside. 📸🌸✨

As I stepped inside the temple grounds, my eyes were immediately drawn to the massive Buddha statue, towering majestically over the area.

Many visitors had gathered to pay their respects and offer prayers, as this sacred site is widely believed to grant blessings and good fortune to those who seek them. 🙏✨

Standing before the enormous Buddha statue, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace and reverence. The statue, adorned with layers of gold leaf, glowed beautifully under the bright blue sky, making it even more breathtaking.

Many worshippers approached the statue, pressing gold leaf onto the sacred surface and offering flowers, candles, and coins in the hope of receiving blessings and good fortune. 🙏✨

I took the coins I had prepared and placed them into each alms bowl, one by one, until I had completed the entire row of Buddha statues. I didn’t count how many coins I gave per bowl; I simply let my heart guide me, offering them with sincerity and gratitude.

The rhythmic sound of coins dropping into the bowls created a peaceful and meditative atmosphere, making me feel a deep sense of tranquility and fulfillment. 🙏✨

After making merit, I walked over to the sacred oil lamp and carefully added oil to keep the flame burning. This act symbolizes enlightenment, wisdom, and the continuous flow of positive energy in life.

As I watched the golden flame dance gently, I took a deep breath and felt a sense of peace wash over me, reminding me to carry this warmth and positivity into my journey ahead. 🙏✨

Before leaving, I stopped by the sacred area to draw a fortune stick, a tradition known as "เซียมซี" (Siam Si). Holding the bamboo container, I gently shook it until one stick fell out, revealing my fortune number.

I took the slip of paper that matched my number and read it carefully. Whether the prediction was good or bad, I reminded myself that life is shaped by our actions, and every challenge comes with an opportunity. 🍀✨
