I hardly found this photo of the temple in my archives.
Here the domes are free of scaffolding.
And now it looks something like this:

Unfortunately, there is no such accessible location from where I could capture this beautiful temple in all its details. The Lieutenant Schmidt Embankment is quite crowded. But there is scope for views of the Neva River.

К сожалению нет такой доступной локации, откуда я мог бы запечатлеть этот красивейший храм во всех деталях. На набережной Лейтенанта Шмидта довольно тесно. Зато открывается простор на виды Невы.

But that's not what the post is about.
This post is dedicated to what is under this temple.
I can't say that it's in his basement, but rather it can be called the basement.
And there is a cafe "Monastic pyshki", and this is its front door.

Но пост не про это.
Этот пост посвящён тому, что находится под этим храмом.
Не могу сказать, что в его подвале, скорее это можно назвать цокольным этажом.
А находится там кафе "Монастырские пышки", и это его входная дверь.

I have a negative attitude towards the combination of temples and shopping places.
There is a well-known biblical story of how Jesus drove the merchants out of the temple.
But there is an excuse here - the temple is part of the monastery compound.
And serving people want to eat.
But the entrance here is free for everyone and you can see the menu in front of the door.

Я негативно отношусь к совмещению храмов и торговых мест.
Известна библейская история, как Иисус выгонял торговцев из храма.
Но здесь есть оправдание - храм является частью монастырского подворья.
А служивым людям хочется кушать.
Но вход здесь свободен для всех и перед дверью вы можете ознакомиться с меню.

The low vaulted ceiling and the multitude of columns create a special atmosphere.
Everything is quite thought out here and there is nothing superfluous.
You just walk down the steps and come to the counter.

Низкий сводчатый потолок, множество колонн-опор создают особую атмосферу.
Здесь всё довольно продумано и нет ничего лишнего.
Просто спускаешься по ступенькам вниз и подходишь к прилавку.

Not only you can have a delicious meal here, but also your smartphone or tablet :)

And the food here is really delicious.

А готовят здесь действительно вкусно.

I tried the first dish on the list myself, excellent ear, real.
The chicken salad was excellent too.
And the hot chocolate was so thick that a teaspoon just stood in it.

Первое блюдо в списке я попробовал лично сам, отменная уха, настоящая.
Салат с курицей тоже был превосходен.
А горячий шоколад был таким густым, что чайная ложка в нём просто стояла.
Цены на фото указаны в рублях.
Например уха - 220 руб или 2,6$ или примерно 19 STEEM

I liked the calm and cozy atmosphere in this monastery cafe.
An unusual place, good cuisine and relatively inexpensive.

Мне понравилась спокойная и уютная обстановка в этом монастырском кафе.
Необычное место, хорошая кухня и относительно бюджетно.

You can just go in for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, or you can have a hearty lunch.
I recommend you to visit :)

Можно просто зайти на чашку кофе или горячего шоколада, а можно сытно отобедать.
